Queer Voices Birmingham launches in October 2025, offering a safe and inclusive environment for queer individuals who may find it difficult to attend other poetry open mic nights in the city.

We support and uplift new or emerging queer poets in Birmingham by providing a safe space where they can connect with other queer individuals and share their work freely.

Our Birmingham events feature timed performance slots, giving performers the freedom to voice their words and express themselves through poetry and spoken word.
